Caitlin ffrench is an artist working in East Vancouver (unceded Coast Salish Territories), and received her BFA from the University of British Columbia (Okanagan) and she attended the Kootenay School of the Arts for their textile program.
She works with paints, inks, and charcoals that she makes from botanical and earth pigments as well as wildcrafted materials. You can find these materials for sale in her webshop.
Her photography practice is film based- the cameras she uses most often are her Bronica, Pentax K1000, and a Polaroid Landcamera that shoots packfilm which is no longer in production.
